A Set of six Regency period dining chairs, comprising two carvers and four singles, in simulated rosewood. The rope twist top rails above scrolled back with original brass rosettes to the gadrooned back support, the caned seats raised on well drawn sabre legs. These chairs display elements of design heavily associated with the Egyptian style that was hugely fashionable during this period. Original brass mounts throughout. England. C.1815
