An early 18th century oak and fruitwood upholstered stool, the cushion covered n a tapestry seat showcasing a copied section of a 15th century tapestry shown in the Musee de Cluny as written on the side of the frame. The whole raised on well shaped cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. England. C.1730
