Welcome to the online home of Wakelin & Linfield where you will find an ever-changing inventory of antiques dating from the 16th to the 20th centuries. We specialise in Antique Furniture, Works of Art, Paintings and many more interesting items including early antique metalware, sculpture and glass. Whether  you are looking for something to furnish your home, a gift for a loved one, or an additional piece to add to your existing collection we feel sure that you will find something of interest on our site. 

We are actively sourcing new pieces for our website, antiques fairs and our showrooms and always hold stock for homes both in the town and the country.

We have a passion for design, colour and texture and this is reflected in the pieces that we buy. We are committed to providing our clients, both private and trade buyers within the interior design industry with the very best in authentic English and Continental (and much further afield) antiques for the home.

We hold antique furniture for all situations. Our offering of kitchen / dining room furniture includes wonderful country antique farmhouse tables, Regency centre tables and breakfast tables, interesting seat furniture including antique comb back Windsor chairs, Georgian dressers, Painted antique cupboards and other Storage units.  We also hold many smaller decorative items such as 19th century turned sycamore bowls, 17th and 18th century polychrome Delft plates, Gingerbread moulds and various other pieces of kitchenalia and early metalware including 16th, 17th and 18th century brass candlesticks and other iron and steel examples for the fireplace.

If you are looking for something for your sitting room or library, we try to carry a a selection of 19th and early 20th century antique arm chairs and sofas. We are always looking for better than average examples of antique Wing armchairs, Knole sofas and Chesterfields. We also have antique 19th century Drum tables, Regency Library tables, Georgian bookcases and a good array of small occasional tables such as Bouilotte (Lamp) tables, tilt top 18th century tripod tables, Sheraton sofa tables and games tables and mirrors of all shapes and sizes.

For bedrooms, we have plenty of English antique chests of drawers, Continental antique commodes and armoires, dressing tables and mirrors as well as early oak coffers and European painted chests for storage. We always try to have a few large Linen Presses and other antique cupboards perfect for storing bed linen and towels.
