A mid 18th century George II period oak dresser base,  the moulded top above an interesting and unusual configuration of walnut crossbanded drawers above a intricately shaped frieze, the whole raised on square cabriole legs terminating in pointed pad feet. The sides panelled and further decorated with shaping to the frieze. England. C.1760
